Oh to be a cat

We have been cat-sitting Geoff's parent's cat and upon her arrival Sam was very interested in Annie's cat bed and her mouse toy that makes a chirpy kind of sound.  Last week I got him another cat toy from the Shaw's pet aisle that he now loves - so easy - I wish I had figured this one out a little earlier ;)

It is just me or does he look like 40 in this photo? ;)

From our walk last weekend - for some reason I think he looks older in this photo.  And he def. has Geoff's nose!! :)

Little hide-away

 

Sam loves crawling into this space under the kitchen island (that lives in the dining room ;)  - so I draped a table cloth over it to make it a proper hide-away for him - he was in love :)  I can't wait to get him a bigger play space that he can hang out in - there are so many options - but I think when we get him a bed we will get something that has a play space with it - they have a bunk bed that has a play space under it and a slide from the loft bed - but that is a little ways down the road....

I just learned how to download photos directly from my iPhone to my laptop - okay to be honest I have had an iPhone for 3 years or so and this is actually the first time I have attempted it - just in time for me to rid myself of my new iPhone today and sap it for the new iPad - woot woot!
