So I have decided to re-name Sam's blog presence.  I though the previous title was funny for when I was stating home with him in the beginning, and I don't want people to think we have a teddy bear camera here ;)

Birthday Photos!

Nicholas Visits

We babysat Nicholas on Friday night - it was so much fun to have him - he is really so easy going and such a smart little guy.  He figured out Sam's toys in no time:

Tub Time!

Geoff took some photos of Sam taking a bath last week - he just loves the tub - and I was happy that we were both around so he could take photos while I minded Sam.

How do you define "walking"?

If you think 2-3 steps unassisted constitutes walking - then Sam is walking :)  Yesterday at the play place in Newton Sam was going back and forth in between Gisela and Betty - they said he was doing it a ton of times and was having a blast.

When he got home he was tired (from just waking up from a nap) so he did not replicate it for Geoff and I, but however you define it the boy is more mobile :)

November Mom's Group

On 11/20 the Mom's came over to our house for our Novemebr play date.  Kelly & Vincent could not make it because of a baby shower.  It was so much fun to catch up with everyone.  All the kids are on the move, or trying to be.  The girls had a lot of fun playing with Sam's toys and eating his snacks.  December is too busy to schedule a meet up, so the next play date is scheduled for the end of January.

Habitat

I took Sam for a walk at Habitat in Belmont on Friday afternoon.  It was a really lovely afternoon.  I had him in the backpack carrier which was a great workout for me and afforded him a terrific view of it all :)

This photo is from Geoff's cousin's wedding over the summer.  They were really sweet and sent along this photo with the thank you note.  Geoff, Gisela and I were falling over laughing at Sam's face (and expressive toes ;) in this shot.

Shark Attack

Because Sam has not been feeling his best we decided to lay low and not partake in all the fun Halloween festivities.  We had planned on taking him to Belmont and to a few houses in our neighborhood, but he was really not up for it.  We did put him in his costume and take a few photos though ;) 

Under the Weather

Sam came down with a cold at the end of last week - poor guy - he has a stuffy nose and just not feel like himself.  He was cranky all day yesterday and into today.  This photo was from yesterday - I let him nap in his high chair bcs it was the only place he would actually rest.  I think it made his head feel better to be upright:
